WHY I READ IT
Fan of Georgia Cates and received it as an ARC.
WHAT I RATED IT
WHAT IT’S ABOUT
I’ve watched him from afar for years. And he has no idea. I take joy in that.
Through my observations, I’ve learned what makes this charming villain tick.
And Sex. Lots of it.
Sometimes you must get into bed with the enemy for the greater good. And that’s what I’ll do; it’s all part of making Sinclair Breckenridge fall in love with me so I can penetrate his inner circle.
There’s hell to pay.
I’m a dark horse. The perfect storm.
I am Bleu MacAllister. And I’m coming for him.
Stella Bleu McAllister has been focused on one thing since she was a child… to avenge her mother’s murder. Unhappily, but with the help from her stepfather, she has spent years preparing for this both physically and mentally.
“I’m certain no father wants to hear that his daughter’s aspiration in life is to grow up to be a killer, especially when he’s an FBI special agent sworn to uphold the law…Some may call it an ultimatum he couldn’t refuse—either teach me how to kill or watch me attempt it on my own without any training.”
Now, at the age of 25, she is ready to move forward with her plan…by going through her mother’s murderer’s son, Sinclair Breckenridge to get his father, Thane Breckenrigde.
Bleu moves to Scotland and gets a job at Duncan’s Whisky Bar to meet Sinclair and although her plans are put into motion they are soon turned upside down when she starts having feeling for “Sin”…feelings that she had not anticipated. The more she gets to know Sin and his father, the more she questions her mission. And falling in love with Sin was certainly not part of her plan.
“Into me…you see.” He opens his eyes to look at me again and I’m overcome with an emotion I’ve never known. My heart feels as though it might burst from happiness, and I don’t want to contain it any longer. “I love you, Sinclair.”
What will happen if her true identity is discovered?
A Necessary Sin is book one of a trilogy. The ending of this book has me SOOOOO looking forward to next! I cannot wait until February 9th for THE NEXT SIN!
