WHY I READ IT
This was about my 10th re-read of Archer’s Voice and I have never reviewed it. I thought it was time!!! This is review 1 of “Jacque’s 20 Review Challenge 2017 – (from my book shelf only)”.
WHAT I RATED IT
WHAT IT’S ABOUT
When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer’s Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.
We all have those few books that we truly connect with and that will forever remain one of your favorites of all time. Archer’s Voice is one of those books for me. This book is pure HEA heaven!
There is so much tragedy that makes up this story and that has made Archer the way he is. It is filled with so much raw emotion. Archer’s innocence is just so sweet and adorable you will certainly swoon over him. And Bree is just perfect. With all that Archer has gone through and the recluse that he has become, how lucky was he to meet someone like her. She is someone that helps him see that he has so much more to offer and with her he dares to become the man he never knew he could be. And you will fall in love with the way he loves Bree. It’s a love we all dream of having!!!
From the beginning this story took a hold of me and never let go. You will laugh, you will cry, you will get so caught up in Archer and Bree’s story that you will not put this book down. I am a huge fan of all of Mia Sheridan’s books and we are fortunate, as readers, to have the words of many other great stories by her. But it’s Archer’s Voice that truly made her one of my favorite authors. I can only imagine that Archer’s Voice is the type of book that authors dream of writing. It’s that good. If you have not read it, please do! It will become one of your faves of all time too!
