Ask For the Moon by Rochelle Paige ~ Amy’s Review

WHY I READ IT

I have been on a huge shifter kick lately and I know that Rochelle writes them how I like them.

WHAT I RATED IT

WHAT IT’S ABOUT

A determined alpha + An unsuspecting wallflower = A sexy surprise!

Seth Bashar carries the weight of the shifter world on his shoulders as the head of their council. Or at least it’s felt that way ever since he attempted the impossible—uniting witches and shifters. As he tries to maintain the delicate balance, finding his fated mate is more vital than ever.

Jane Smith has no responsibilities to anyone but herself. Finally. She’s more than happy to fade into the woodwork. When her favorite customer, Gerri Wilder, insists on setting her up on a blind date, she reluctantly agrees.

It was only supposed to be a harmless night of fun… until it was more. Until he was everything.

AMY’S REVIEW

If you are searching for something short, sweet, and sexy as hell than this is the novella for you.  As usual Rochelle is on point with her shifters.  This one was a little more laid back than the others.  It had less drama but, left the story open to go somewhere huge.  The suspense and anticipation has defiantly been built.

I really appreciated Seth and Jane’s story because neither of them put up pretenses or played games.  They were open and real with each other from the word go and while I do like some drama in my stories I have to say this was a refreshing change.  It made for a light crisp read that left me eager for more of Rochelle’s shifters.

My only real complaint is like most when reading a novella, I wish I had more.  More of Seth and Jane.  More of Seth’s beta Jared and absolutely more from all the other council members.
