WHY I READ IT
After reading The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy, I couldn’t wait to read the spin-off featuring Greer Karas.
WHAT I RATED IT
WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Desperately seeking rich, famous, single guy with a giant cock to make my lying, cheating, should’ve-been-born-dickless ex-boyfriend realize what he’s just lost.
Oh, and I give great head. Just sayin’.
No man in his right mind would answer that ad.
Except thousands did.
My name is Greer Karas, and I should never be allowed near another bottle of booze again. Because when I drink, my friend and I do stupid things. Like take a page out of my older brother Creighton’s playbook and post something completely asinine on the Internet. Waking up with a giant hangover to find my humiliating personal ad has gone viral is not my finest moment.
Cue my look of shock when one of Hollywood’s hottest new bad boys, Cavanaugh Westman, comes knocking at my door and drops his pants to prove that he does indeed have a giant cock.
What he doesn’t have is an explanation for why he disappeared from my life without a word three years ago, only to show up on the big screen two years later, killing bad guys in action flicks.
Now he wants me again.
What the hell do I do now?
Anytime Meghan March wants to get dirty, I’m in! I got dirty with Creighton and Holly in The Dirty Billionaire trilogy and once Meghan asked her readers to get dirty once again, this time with Creighton’s little sister Greer, I couldn’t wait. Oh boy, Dirty Girl is dirrrrrrttttty. Like, Christina Aguilera “Dirrty” during her Xtina phase. Maybe even dirtier than that! After reading it, I wanted to jump in a cold pool to cool off because hot damn….Greer and Cav. Hot. Damn.
Dirty Girl is a spin-off of The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy featuring Greer Karas, who has taken a page out of her brother Creighton’s book and posted a viral ad seeking out a well-endowed male to satisfy her while proclaiming her own superior oral skills. This ad catches the eye of Cavanaugh Westman, a man from Greer’s past who can’t resist a second chance with her. The first thing I noticed about this story was Greer’s voice. It’s so distinct and unlike most female POVs that I’ve read before. Greer is hilarious and snarky and sassy but she’s also vulnerable, which comes through during the moments she manages to let her guard down. Greer wants what every woman wants – to be loved but the reappearance of Cavanaugh Westman has her throwing up walls. But, the allure of the hot movie star from her past is too great and well, Greer has needs. Who could blame her for taking exactly what she wants from Cav?
Dirty Girl is told in from a dual perspective so we’re also treated to Cav’s POV, which is distinctly alpha. I think he might even be more alpha than Creighton, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. As the sister to Creighton Karas, Greer is in the public eye and Cav is totally committed to protecting her. When their relationship becomes tabloid fodder and they’re hounded by paparazzi, Cav goes into super alpha mode which is pretty damn hot. I couldn’t help but swoon every time Cav’s alpha came out – what girl wouldn’t want a man like that to protect her? Greer’s hang-up with Cav is that he disappeared for three years, which makes her cautious. She can’t truly move forward with Cav until she learns the truth and Cav is holding on to secrets, which aren’t revealed until the end. Cav’s secret is purely a March Magic Twist that even I couldn’t have predicted!
Greer and Cav’s chemistry is off-the-charts and their story is so compelling. It’s not just the hot, dirty sex that moves this story forward but it’s the genuine feel of this relationship. Greer and Cav are the real deal. They both know what they want – each other – and they’re very honest and realistic about their expectations. Greer knows she can’t have Cav until he tells her the truth and Cav wants Greer, know matter what. Cav’s constant proclamations and reassurances that Greer is his lead to some truly swoon-worthy, panty-melting moments.
I really have to applaud Meghan March on Dirty Girl because even though it ends in a cliffhanger, I felt like she delivered a totally complete story. Greer and Cav are fully developed, complex characters that I want to know. I actually want to hang out with Greer and her BFF Banner. And I can’t wait for Dirty Love so I can, once again, be a part of their world.
