Dirty Together by Meghan March – BECKY’S REVIEW

dirty together review photo

I have previously read and reviewed the first two books in the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy and I was given an advanced reader’s copy

My wife.
I love saying those words.
She’s mine, and if she thinks I’m going to let her run without tracking her down and bringing her back to where she belongs—with me—then she’s about to be introduced to a new reality.
Because I’ll fight dirty to give her the happily ever after she deserves.

Dirty Together is the final book in The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy and should be read following Dirty Billionaire and Dirty Pleasures.

As soon as the advanced reader’s copy of Dirty Together landed on my Kindle, I dove in – sorry other arcs I was reading. I couldn’t wait to see how Meghan March ended this amazing trilogy. I had high, high hopes and I wasn’t let down. This last installment of the Dirty Billionaire series gave me everything that I was looking for, plus a few surprises along the way.

Creighton Karas is literally the perfect BBF. I mean, it’s hard to find a single thing wrong with him. I loved his change throughout the course of the entire series. Holly really flips his world upside down. It’s obvious that Holly is the first girl that is not only worthy of his heart but worth the fight. I kept waiting for Creighton to get angry with Holly for running and doubting him because what guy would keep putting up with that? But he never gets angry. The man has the patience of the saint. What it boils down to is…I just love everything Creighton does to make sure Holly knows that she’s wanted, that she’s special and that she’s loved. That’s what makes him so perfect – Creighton Karas does so much for Holly Wix and expects very little in return.

Throughout the series, I was waiting for Holly to fight for Creighton and finally, she does. After reading Dirty Together, I felt like I truly understood Holly. She’s not used to leaning on someone else. She’s had to rely on herself and Creighton takes her by surprise. She runs from him because she expects him to leave so she wants to beat him to the punch. When Creighton tracks her down again and stays, this proves to Holly that she can count on him. So, when the opportunity to fight for Creighton presents itself, Holly does the right thing. She doesn’t run and hide, instead she goes right to Creighton.

Now, I know that I predicted this final installment would be a five-star read but I’m only giving it four-and-a-half. What gives, right?? Well, there’s a bit of a surprising plot twist towards the end that I felt was a bit out of place. I think there were some amazing missed opportunities for Meghan March to take the plot in various directions that would have fit better. I loved these characters so much and I felt like that one little surprise just didn’t belong. Well, it’s not actually a little surprise – it’s kind of big. Still, no spoilers. You have to read it and judge for yourself.

As a whole, this is a great series; one that I will read and reread and reread. When my husband does something stupid? I’ll just pour myself a glass of Bushmills (or A&W root beer) and get cozy with Creighton all over again.
