WHAT IT’S ABOUT

Jillian thought she was a city girl through and through; the fast cars, high fashion, and glamour—she loves it all. But when her ex tells her he’s having a baby with his new wife (after Jillian struggled for years to get pregnant), she hightails it back to Montana to cry on the shoulder of her best friend, Cara.

But in truth, Jillian would rather be comforted by someone else…specifically Zack, Cara’s brother-in-law. Zack is a veteran of the Iraq War who came back to the family ranch to raise his preteen son after the boy’s mother took off. He’s struggling to re-establish a relationship with his son, and warding off the demons of PTSD, which still haunt him. The last thing he needs is bold, brassy Jillian…but why can’t he keep his hands off her?

JENN’S REVIEW

The third book in Kristen Proby’s Love in the Big Sky series, gives us the story of Zack and Jillian. Zack and Jillian have a bit of back story, but hurt feelings and misunderstandings have come between them, bringing us to now.

Jillian has been avoiding Zack, but all of a sudden he seems to be everywhere she is, and for good reason. Zack has decided he is no longer waiting for Jillian to come around. He is going after what he wants.

Kristen Proby writes men that are strong and determined and Zack is no exception. He has demons in his past, but he does everything he can to not allow them to affect Jillian. He wants her and will stop at nothing to get her. Kristen’s women are just as fierce as her men.  Jillian is no stranger to demons, and when she left LA for Montana, she hoped she left them behind.

Jillian and Zack seem to have to falling into an easy relationship, until a life changing event. Just when Jillian thinks she has everything she wanted, her world is rocked. Will Zack and Jillian work through their issues, or just walk away?

I have read all of KPs books and they are fun, quick, enjoyable reads. I have always liked how you continue to connect with characters from previous stories. This is the perfect, curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and enjoy book. I look forward to more stories from Kristen.
