Why I Read It
I had never read her before and I love douchebags and RomComs.
What I Rated It
What It’s About
CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.
SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three.
She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends.
He wants to spend time with her.
He wants to drive her crazy.
Not often do I find a RomCom book that I can actually say made me laugh out loud and probably almost peed myself. A little. Maybe. It also isn’t often that I find a book where a female author has tapped into the mind of a male character so well that you forget he isn’t a real person.
Oz. Well he is studious. That is about the only endearing quality that keeps you silently cheer him on through out his crazy D-Bag antics at the beginning. This guy has ZERO filter. Never have I ever wanted to strangle and hi five a make character so hard. Simultaneously. But his heart shows through in the cutest douchy-est way at the perfect time.
Jameson. The girl with class and a boatload of sass. She stays herself through out this book. She is her cardigan wearing, studious, sassy mouthed, and stubborn self the whole time. I was really glad she didn’t change as her class and tact are something rare and precious in this book world. But trust me…never let a lady in a cardigan fool you!
This book is for anyone who has had a date end so badly it is Tumblr disaster story ready. This book is for anyone who has been told an awful pickup line. This book is for the fellow lovers of crude humor. If movies like the Hangover are the epitome of funny to you, THEN READ THIS BOOK.
