Ride Steady and Walk Through Fire by Kristen Ashley – The latest two installments in the Chaos series had me hooked from the prologue! From the absolute adoration I could feel coming from Carson Steele towards Carissa and her baby to the heartbreaking saga of High and Millie, these two tugged on my heart strings for two different reasons.
Hold On by Kristen Ashley – The final book in The Burg series was an emotional rollercoaster for me. We have followed the personal struggles of both Merry and Cheryl, and to see them conquer them and come together in an explosive way was a great sendoff for this series!
Aflame by Penelope Douglas – The drama leading up to the final chapter in the Fall Away series had me waiting on bated breath for this book. I loved catching back up with the Fall Away gang and seeing what went down in their futures.
Corrupt by Penelope Douglas – Having waited for this book for close to two years, I was afraid I would be disappointed due to the build up of the story in my head. The book far exceeded my expectations, and I loved it! Now I just need to find my own steam room…
A Perfect Ten, Worth It and The Girl’s Got Secrets by Linda Kage – I have a taste for the forbidden fruit, and what is better than a series revolving around that? From your best friends little sister, to a convict to someone who thinks you’re a man, when you’re really a woman… half the fun of this series is trying to predict when the secrets come out!
Sweet Temptation and Resisting Temptation by K.C. Lynn– I couldn’t help but get sucked into this series, and trying to pick favorites is hard, but Sexy Sawyer and the gruff and dark Cade tugged on my heart strings. Sexy Sawyer is hilarious, while Cade and Faith’s stories queued the waterworks. Ruthie just may have stolen my heart as well!
Trusting Liam by Molly McAdams – This book is probably my most memorable from 2015. Anyone who knows me, knows Chase and Taking Chances has ruined me emotionally and also ruined my wall, where my Nook slammed into it after reading THAT PART! I never thought my heart would be repaired, but this book has healed the Chase shaped hole in my heart!
Fisher’s Light by Tara Sivec – The letter at the beginning of this book hooked me from the first line. I devoured this book in one sleepless night, and spent the next month walking around in a fog. This book tackles tough issues that seem to be glossed over on our society, and I love that Tara took a chance on this topic and nailed it!
Unexpected Fate by Harper Sloan – Ever since little Cohen was given his cape to help him fight the invisible ninjas, I had been hoping for his story. I loved his relationship with Dani, and Harper lived up to her reputation with this first book in the spinoff of Corps Security.
Elude and Ember by Rachel Van Dyken – I am still emotional about Elude and can’t talk about it, but I will say I don’t think I’ve cried that hard over a book since Ruin. Ever since the twist regarding Phoenix in Elicit, I was waiting for this book! Some of my favorite stories are those of a great redemption. Phoenix hit serious lows in his life, and his redemption story is one that left me thinking for a long time.
