Picking ONLY 10 top reads of 2017 was one of the hardest things to do! It took me WEEKS of deliberating, re-reading and going back and forth to pick just 10, but I DID IT! So, without further ado, I present to you… Katie’s Top Reads of 2017!
Katie’s Top Reads of 2017
Complicated by Kristen Ashley
Classic KA! Hot alpha male that knows what he wants plus a strong independent female equals explosive chemistry and HAWT scenes!
An Ex for Christmas by Lauren Layne
If you’re looking for an easy, Hallmark Christmas channel-esque read, then look no further! 5 brilliant stars!! I couldn’t put it down!!
Fighting with Honor by KC Lynn
I LOVE my Men of Honor, and this “extra” treat from KC just made me swoon and cry at the same time! KC Lynn is a master at keeping you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next!
The Knight by B.B. Reid
What can I say? BB is my crack. I love everything she writes! This one had me questioning my morals… but hey, who’s judging? I LOVED it!
The Time in Between by Kristen Ashley
If I had to pick only one book I read this year that I am allowed to re-read, it would be this one. Heartbreakingly beautiful, I connected with this story so much! Let’s not factor in the name similarity here, still, this book was so beautiful, I cried over the beauty!
Wish you were Mine by Tara Sivec
I love nothing more than a book that can surprise me, but a close second favorite is one where you can feel the push and pull, beauty and pain, and love and hate between two characters. I love watching them try to fight it, but in the end, their love will conquer all. This book has all of that!
Nova by Rebecca Yarros
Totally new twist on college romances! Exhilarating, thrilling and FUN! I loved this recommendation from Cassie! (And when I say recommendation, I mean she LOVED it and couldn’t stop talking about it to me!)
A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught
Probably the most surprising on my list, this is a historical romance that isn’t my typical cup of tea. However, it had all the elements of current times romances I love, plus a beautiful setting. The heroine was feisty and strong, and the hero was an alpha-hole you love to hate! Watching their friction build into love was a beautiful thing to watch!
Hideaway by Penelope Douglas
Kai. Need I say more? Well, if I need to say more, just trust me, this book is epic! I love secrets, and this book is full of them! Plus, glimpses from those in the past come to the forefront, I couldn’t put it down!
The Coppersmith Farm House by Devney Perry
I’m not one that likes to compare one author to another, but if you love Kristen Ashley, you will love this one! Slow burn, a hint of danger and always just enough action to keep you hooked!
