WHAT I RATED IT

off the charts

WHAT IT’S ABOUT

‘So, they want me to write a book? They want to know about my band, my life, my loves and my losses. But they have no idea what they’re asking for. If I give them what they want, they’ll get so much more than the sex and drugs and the rock and roll they’re expecting. They’ll get the secrets that I’ve kept for so long, they’ll get an insight into the person I really am, or at least was. They think they know my story, they know nothing.

If I do this, if I write honestly and give them the ugly truth, people will get hurt. People that I love, people that have already suffered in the worst possible ways.

Do I do this, or do I walk away? Taking my secrets to the grave.’

Marley is an adult contemporary romance. It contains content suitable only for grownups with an open mind. There are scenes of group sex which include m/f/m a little bit of f/m/m and even some f/f/f/m/m/f/f/f. There is drinking and drug taking involved. A lot of swearing, some Essex slang and some very high emotion. Please don’t complain after reading this book that you wasn’t warned.

And yes, of course you’ll need tissues.

JACQUE’S REVIEW

WOW, just WOW!!!

I have to admit that I can never get enough of the CARNAGE story.  In MARLEY, we travel into the past and relive what happened in CARNAGE through the eyes of Marley in a book he has written.  It’s a book that’s forcing an older and wiser Marley to deal with his past and the guilt that he has carried all these years.   There is so much emotion in this book – you will definitely need a box of tissues on standby. You will laugh, cry and cry some more.

Having Marley’s point of view, we get the details that we didn’t even know were missing.  We even learn a few secrets.  We get to experience Sean and Georgia’s love again, not only in the past but you feel the love the Georgia will always have for Sean (not taking anything away from Cam).  And you will be reminded that even if though you loved Sean, you love Cam for “saving” Georgia.  We also got more of Ash and how she has stayed Marley’s “rock” all these years.

If you are a CARNAGE fan you will absolutely love MARLEY!!!  If you haven’t read the CARNAGE books yet, you MUST.    These books were so emotional reads for me.  MARLEY was another one of those books that I was almost afraid to read because I knew I would be pulled back in to relive what happened in CARNAGE all over again.  And I wasn’t wrong. I was 2% into the books and was crying my eyes out just thinking about what was to come.  But that is why the CARNAGE books are my favorites.  It’s those books, the one that leave you emotionally drained, that always become my favorites.

CARNAGE 1&2 MUST BE READ BEFORE MARLEY.

For me, 5 STARS does not do any of the CARNAGE books justice.  Read them!!!  You will love them!!!
