Muscle Memory by Stylo Fantome ~ Amy’s Review

I have been intrigued by Stylo Fantome’s style of writing since reading Best Laid Plans.  Her writing and storylines are unique, edgy, and ALWAYS keep me guessing until the end.

Her lips, the way she feels, how she moves against me. Her voice when she laughs, her eyes when she cries. Her soul connected to mine, for better or for worse, for all eternity.

I don’t remember.

A blank face. Unrecognizable. The darkness and impenetrable fog, day after day after day. Who am I? And for that matter, who is she?

I can’t remember.

Two sides to the same coin – one wants to remember, and the other wants to stay forgotten. Which side will win? Can he trust his heart to bring him back to her? Or will she stay lost in the fog forever?

I might never remember.

I am always impressed by Stylo Fantome’s work.  The originality and quirkiness you find in each and every one of her storylines always keeps me coming back for more.  Her characters are always deep and meaningful while still having this air of playfulness around  them.  The stories are fulfilling emotionally with that edge of humor that she does so well.

I went into this story completely blind with no expectations of what was going to happen or knowledge as to why Muscle Memory was significant to the storyline.  I’ve never been happier that I took that approach than with this book.  I got a real-honest to God, epic love story and enjoyed every second of it.

Muscle Memory with its  punch in the gut emotions, gripping love story, and one of the most sincere and selfless characters I’ve had the pleasure of reading will grab a hold of you and not let go.  You will struggle with the pain, heartbreak, and sheer beauty of this story but, it’s a struggle worth facing because Stylo Fantome did an excellent job of bringing this story to life.

I truly enjoyed every second of this book and am always looking forward to what this author has for us next.
