Warning! If you have not read Tag Chaser, expect to have some spoilers!

This is a review for just one of the short stories for the mouth anthology. I have not read any of the others, but Kandi’s story alone is worth the purchase.

Kandi has never disappointed me before and this was definitely up to her normal par. It always has drama without it being petty. It is always just enough to keep it interesting and feel like you are getting that emotional pull all good stories give as you climb up to the climax. As always, she throws in some good and light-hearted humor along the way to give you some giggles in between the build-up.

Paisley is finally going home with Corbin after a few years of dating bliss. What she expects to be a nice week of enjoying meeting his family quickly turns sour. All because of one word, or should I say person? Rachel. Yep. She is back and takes no time in trying to show up Paisley.

Corbin instantly becomes Mr. Country when he arrives home and I don’t think anyone will complain. It just adds to his hotness. What Mr. Ray fails to realize is how conniving Rachel can be. While he is caught up enjoying being home, he is unknowingly letting Paisley suffer. Will he realize what Rachel is doing or will those tags she chased never completely be caught?

There is so much feeling, drama, and just a bit of steam in this short story and you won’t want to miss out.

The Mouth Anthology is worth the buy not only for the cause, but because Kandi Steiner’s words are amazing.
