WHY I READ IT
I’ve been a huge fan the Alabama Summer Series and jumped at the chance for more Ben and Mia.
WHAT I RATED IT
WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Ben and Mia Kelly can’t seem to catch a break.
Grueling night shift and opposing schedules have left the passionate couple geared up and ready for some much needed alone time. There’s only one thing standing in their way.
With two curious boys who have mastered the art of cock-blocking roaming the house, Ben and Mia, sexually frustrated beyond reason, quickly resort to surprise sexcapades and naughty little trysts whenever and however they can get them.
Who said anything about keeping things legal?
I still remember the summer day that I sat on my deck and read every word of J. Daniels, Where I Belong. I was enthralled by Ben and Mia’s hate-to-love story, complete with a dragon-fighting Nolan. I needed more of them, and throughout the series, we had glimpses and moments, but for me, it was never enough…until Where We Belong.
This book is a true love letter to the fans. It is not a novella for those not familiar with the series, as we get the continuing stories of all our favorite Alabama boys, plus, a glimpse into CJ. Ben and Mia are the standouts and this is their story. The love they share radiates off the pages. You feel their affection deep in your gut. The frustration they face at the lack of “alone time” is something every couple faces, and it was dealt with in a real, and honest way. If you are looking for scorching sex scenes, Ben and Mia are your couple. Ben’s dirty mouth would make anyone blush, and there is no way to pick a favorite. The back of his police car? The dressing room? The list is endless.
Where We Belong is a love story, but not just Ben and Mia’s. It’s a story about the love a family has for one another. It’s about Nolan’s love for Chase and his devotion to Mia. It’s about Mia loving Nolan as her own, and what happens when that bond is threatened. Where We Belong is the perfect finale for Ben and Mia.
